Milan chief executive Adriano Galliani has announced exactly when David Beckham will start his second spell at the San Siro.

“He will be in Milan on December 28, when the team will resume training after the Christmas break,” Galliani is quoted as saying on MilanNews.it.

The Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder spent the second half of last season on loan with the Rossoneri and has now opted to re-join the club on a similar basis to boost his chances of making the England squad for next summer’s World Cup finals.

Milan are also poised to sign Ghanaian striker Dominic Adiyiah in January from Norwegian side Fredrikstad, and Galliani added, “It’s all done. He will undergo a medical today [Friday] and then he will put pen to paper.”

The 20-year-old impressed at the FIFA Under-20 World Cup in Egypt last month and was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament after bagging eight goals as Ghana were crowned champions, defeating Brazil on penalties in the final.
