After a disappointing start to his life at Milan, Brazilian star Ronaldinho seems reborn this season and has revealed the secret behind his renaissance.
“The coach has faith in me and I am playing as I used to do for many years at Barcelona,” the 29-year-old admitted to the Milan Channel.
“The fans and the team are behind me and this makes things easier. It is a perfect moment for me. I fell very well both in the head and in the body.”
Milan President Silvio Berlusconi pushed the club into signing Ronaldinho in 2008 and tipped him to rediscover his best form last summer after his compatriot Kaka left for Real Madrid.
“I am very happy with the faith that was put in me by President Berlusconi last summer,” explained Ronaldinho.
“It is an added motivation to work well and repay him by doing my best so that Milan will resume winning.
“He has done a lot for me so that I could join Milan. For me President Berlusconi is No 1.”
