Fiorentina defender Dario Dainelli has urged his team-mates not to give too much respect to Milan when the two sides meet at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Saturday evening.
"Especially with [Alexandre] Pato there, we must defend well as a team," he suggested to Il Corriere dello Sport.
"We'll have to cover well and keep up with their tempo, but also play without fear. This is how we can play a great match."
Despite several injuries this season, Fiorentina qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League, an improvement from their last European campaign.
"We are very united on and off the field," said the ex-Brescia player.
"This is not just rhetoric. We have a solid foundation that enables us to overcome certain difficulties."
