"Especially with [Alexandre] Pato there, we must defend well as a team," he suggested to Il Corriere dello Sport.
"We'll have to cover well and keep up with their tempo, but also play without fear. This is how we can play a great match."
Despite several injuries this season, Fiorentina qualified for the knockout stage of the Champions League, an improvement from their last European campaign.
