After securing their Champions League passage in midweek, Milan return to San Siro on Sunday looking to continue their recent good form on the domestic scene against Palermo.

In his pre-match press conference, Leonardo insinuated that he was expecting a difficult match against the Rosanero due to their flexibility, but wants his side to continue their winning streak in order to keep pace with city rivals Inter.

"Tomorrow we will go back to playing at San Siro - it's always nice to be able to go out onto the pitch with the support of our fans," he mused.

"I'm expecting an interesting match against Palermo. Palermo are a squad that plays good football and have maintained their own identity, despite the many coaching changes. They have some very flexible and versatile players. We will have to pay attention to them.

"I don't think Inter's defeat to Juventus last Saturday has changed Milan much," he continued. "We have gone from being seven points behind to only four, but there are still many games to go until the end of the season.

"At the moment, Inter, Milan and Juve are very close together and this makes the championship more interesting.

"However, I will always be focused on my task. I believe Milan have to maintain continuity, to think about our own way of playing so that we can stay in the upper echelons of the table until the end."
